How to play

Tap Surf Now. Hold either side of the water to steer; release to coast. Wave ramps trigger automatic tricks. Earn pearls and XP through surfing and spend earned pearls in the collection. The Wave Pass is a permanent free progression track.

Progress and purchases

There are no subscriptions or game accounts. Each optional pack—Tideglass, Sunbreak, Moonpool, Coral Carnival, Polar Glow or Starfall—is a separate one-time purchase with six items: board, top, shorts, hat, character and trail. Paid boards have stronger Overdrive powers; the purchase panel states the exact effect before you buy. Powers apply while that board is equipped, and do not stack across owned packs. Open Collection, choose Premium Packs, and use Restore purchases with the Apple Account that originally purchased them. An internet connection is needed for purchasing and restoring. Pending family approvals unlock after Apple confirms them. If the store is unavailable, free gameplay still works. The shirt, shorts and hat are visible on Coastal Surfer. Each animal character has a signature appearance. The board and trail work with all characters. For refund requests, visit Apple’s refund service. Refunding a pack removes access to its gear and board power but does not remove earned gear. Progress is saved locally and is not synced by the developer across devices. Do not delete the app as a troubleshooting step unless you accept losing its local progress. Device backups may restore older progress.

Wave Pass level skips

Open Wave Pass in the collection to buy a one-level skip. The button shows the price from your App Store region. A purchase adds one saved skip; tap Use 1 skip to advance a level, keep XP already earned within that level, and receive the new level’s rewards. All rewards can still be earned by playing. Use your saved skip before buying another. Purchases stop at level 100. Skips never expire and saved skips work offline, but they are stored locally and cannot be restored after deleting the app or transferred to another device. Restore purchases restores all owned non-consumable packs, not level skips. A pending purchase is delivered after Apple approves it. If a confirmed purchase has not appeared, keep the app installed, reopen it with an internet connection and tap Refresh store. Contact support if it still does not appear.

Ads and second chances (version 1.12+)

An interstitial may appear after every two completed runs. If an ad is available, Watch ad · Second chance appears after a wipeout. Finish the ad to earn one revive per run, then tap Keep surfing. You resume at the same distance with your score and collected pearls intact and four seconds of protection. New earnings are added without counting earlier rewards twice. If you drifted into the shallows, the surfer returns just inside the safe channel at the same distance. Visiting the collection ends the second-chance offer for that run.

Ads may be unavailable because of your connection, privacy choices, region or advertising availability. You can always start another run. For privacy choices, open Privacy & Support and choose Ad privacy choices when that option is available. Purchases do not remove ads; no ad-removal purchase is offered in this version.

Troubleshooting

Close and reopen the app, confirm you have the latest version, and restart your device if necessary. Open Audio settings using the speaker button to adjust Waves and Sound effects independently, or mute all audio. Your settings are saved. If the issue continues, contact support with the steps that reproduce it.

Leaderboards

In version 1.12 and later, tap Leaderboards on the main menu and choose Regular boards or Overdrive boards. Sign in through Apple’s Game Center when prompted. Only runs completed after sign-in are submitted. Your best score appears with your Apple nickname; one rewarded second chance is allowed in either ranking. Update your nickname and profile privacy in Settings → Game Center. The leaderboard does not restore your local progress or purchases. Email daybreakenergy@yahoo.com if you need help removing a score.
