This Privacy Policy explains how Daybreak Energy LLC (“Daybreak,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use Moonveil.
1. Information Moonveil may process
- Account information: email address, account identifier, email-verification state, and the display name you choose.
- Profile and app activity: optional zodiac/profile settings and certain local app activity such as tarot limits or reading history.
- User content: messages you submit to Selene and photos you choose or capture for stone or gem analysis.
- Purchase information: subscription or entitlement status and store transaction metadata. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
- Advertising and device information: for free-tier users, advertising identifiers, consent choices, and related device information may be processed by advertising services where permitted.
- Technical information: service, security, error, and diagnostic information may be processed to operate and protect the service.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and maintain accounts, personalize Moonveil, provide requested features, process or restore Moonveil Pro access, serve or measure advertising where applicable, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Automated guidance and image processing
When you send a message to Selene or submit a stone or gem photo for analysis, that content may be transmitted through Moonveil’s secure backend to the configured automated model service provider so the requested response can be generated. Do not submit highly sensitive personal information that is not needed for the feature you are using.
4. Service providers
Moonveil may rely on third parties that process information on our behalf or as independent service providers, including Firebase services for authentication and app data, RevenueCat and the Apple App Store or Google Play for purchase-entitlement services, Google Mobile Ads for free-tier advertising, hosting and backend providers, and an automated model provider for Selene and stone-photo analysis. Their handling of information is also governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
5. Advertising
The free version of Moonveil may display ads. Ad requests are subject to applicable consent choices and regional requirements. Moonveil Pro is designed to remove Moonveil’s in-app ad requests and ad placements while the Pro entitlement is active.
6. Data storage and retention
Different categories of information may be stored for different periods depending on their purpose, service configuration, legal requirements, security needs, and backup practices. Some activity may remain only on your device. We retain personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to applicable law and third-party service retention.
7. Account deletion
Moonveil provides an in-app account-deletion option and a public account-deletion resource. Deleting your Moonveil account is separate from canceling an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Store subscriptions must be managed through the store where they were purchased.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children
Moonveil is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information unlawfully, contact us so we can review the request.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, or other processing of personal information. You may contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Moonveil, our service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when revisions are published.
